Homework provides students with opportunities to deepen their understanding of content that has already been presented to them. It also provides a way to communicate what they have learned with you. If you find your child is struggling with the homework assigned, or taking longer than 20 minutes to complete it, please contact me. Homework should take roughly 10 minutes each day. The following is the homework assignments for each day of the week:
Monday: Spelling list is sent home. 
Tuesday: Reading homework is sent home. Please sign that your child completed their reading and send the folder back with them the following day.
Wednesday: Help your child study for the weekly Spelling Test. 
Thursday: Encourage your child to do some simple math problems with you. 
Friday: Any important notices will go home with your child on this day. Please review papers and return the empty folder on Monday.
